LEOTA Membership Aproved Bylaw Changes Regarding Membership
The membership meeting for LETOA was help on Friday, September 16th at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Rothschild, WI. The membership unanimously approved several bylaw changes: (Please see attached document for specifics)
Membership dues will be back to annual payments and expiration is in September each year.
Retirees who have retired from a position eligible for membership may now be considered regular members.
Dues for regular members are now $25.00 per year and Associate Members are $40.00 per year.

2009 Spring Conference Information
The 2009 Spring Conference will be held March 4th, 2009 at NWTC in Green Bay. Dr. James Williams, a full-time ER doctor and part-time Wisconsin police officer will do the first half of the day on "Tactical Anatomy" which is designed to get instructors and officers to view the human body in 3D for targeting purposes. The second half of the day will have both law enforcement and corrections sessions. The law enforcement session will be "Multimedia Use of Force Instructor." The corrections session is still being finalized. Look for more information on all the sessions and logistics soon.
As a bonus, NWTC will be scheduling the Unified Tactical Instructor Updates on the day before and again on the day after the conference, so in two days you can do both the UT Update and attend the confernece.
